Hey guys! Today I’m going to be doing a Lush haul. Lush is my absolute favourite shop, especially for bath things, and on the weekend, I went a little but mad in there. However, it was totally worth it! Let’s have a look!
Whoosh Shower Jelly
I wasn’t particularly sure of this product as the idea of using a jelly as a shower gel is quite daunting. I picked up the green/blue one as I thought it smelled really refreshing. After reading about other peoples experiences with it, I decided the best way to apply it is to pop a little bit on a scrunchie and applied it as I would a gel. It was utterly amazing! Although you have to be quite careful that it doesn’t slip off, it lathers really well and it has quickly become one of my shower essentials.
Aqua Marina Cleanser
When I walked into Lush I was specifically looking for a cleanser as my previous one had run out. The one that really caught my eye was Aqua Marina. Firstly, I think the name is very pretty, but it was its appearance that really interested me. It’s a lightish pink colour and running through it is a green substance which is rather like seaweed. It has quite a fishy smell to it, which I know some find off putting. However I find it extremely good, and takes off all my make up very easily, and leaves my skin soft and well nourished.
Eau Roma Water
I use this product every day after Aqua Marina. It is absolutely amazing, and leaves my skin so fresh and dewy. I use about five squirts on a cotton wool pad and simply rub it all over my face and neck. It smells divine and is very very hydrating. I have nothing more to say about it other than go buy it and love it!
Dragon Egg Bath Ballistic
Back in the summer, I went shopping with a friend and she wanted to buy this bath bomb after reading it was good. Until now I had completely forgotten how amazing it looked and how much I wanted one. Oh my word. It was utterly gorgeous. It turns the bath a orange and sparkly, with a really citrus-y smell. I left the bath feeling super soft and my skin felt well nourished. A definite favourite.
Mask of Magnaminty
I never really use a face mask, but after having a tester for this I knew I had to get one! Don’t be put off by the colour and texture – it is dark green and rough but amazing. I’ve always known that a cool way of getting rid of spots and blemishes is to cover them in toothpaste – and Magnaminty is just like a pot of toothpaste. After just one use my skin looked clear and I felt extremely fresh. I use it around twice a week and leaving it on for about 10 minutes usually does the trick!
Jumping Juniper Shampoo Bar
Over the last couple of months I’ve found that my hair gets greasy very quickly after I wash it – extremely annoying! It doesn’t seem to be the products I use, just simply hormonal. I googled the best shampoo for greasy hair’ and the name that kept coming up was Jumping Juniper. I decided to buy it and have never looked back. It’s a lovely lilac colour and smells like lemons and limes. The bar actually lathers very well and mine is lasting ages. It leaves my hair literally squeaky clean and it doesn’t get greasy as quickly.
So that’s it! My biggest tip for shopping in Lush is to ask for testers of things. A little pot goes a very long way, and it gives you the chance to see how your skin reacts to the product and if you really like it before buying it. I remember getting a tester for Ultrabalm, and it was basically a pot of moisturiser for free.
I really hope you enjoyed, speak to you soon!
